    Nobody cares about the "new product/feature launch" email describing new functionality.

    Instead, go against the grain and create a sizzle reel of reactions from early access customers to show off your new product or feature. 

    Aside from creating a buzz, you can also get those early access customers in on the promotion strategy by having them share the post, amplifying your reach.

    How to Implement

    1. During alpha or beta rollout of your new product, ask your customer success team to ask the alpha/beta customers a question about their reaction to the new feature.
    2. Scan through Gong calls (can use search or request the moments manually from CS team) and extract them - you can download the call and cut the snippet with Descript, or if you use Laudable, automate finding and extracting all the moments in mp4 format. 
    3. Request approval to use their quotes - we recommend either showing them a draft of the video with other people (so they can see how the video will be used), or listing out other participants (so they know they're not alone - social proof!) in the request. (If you use Laudable, send out approval pages for each clip from within the app.)
    4. Editing time! Have your animator or production team use your brand guidelines to put a frame around the footage and add in some snazzy text animation.
    5. Plan your launch.
